FunFit Kids – Terms & Conditions & Parent Agreement
Jindalee Fitness 24/7
1. Program Overview
FunFit Kids is a structured youth fitness program delivered at Jindalee Fitness 24/7 for:
- KinderFit: 3–5 years
- KidFit: 5–8 years
- JuniorFit: 9–12 years
Sessions include:
- Sports-based fitness (SportsFit)
- Obstacle-style training (Mini Dungeon)
- General movement, coordination, and physical development
School Holiday Programs & TeenFit
In addition to term-based programs, FunFit Kids offers School Holiday Programs, which may include extended session formats, themed activities, and additional training opportunities.
We also offer TeenFit programs (13–17 years). These sessions are designed to support progression into structured training and may include:
- Reformer Pilates and strength-based sessions
- Run Club and outdoor conditioning
- Strength & Conditioning / Hyrox-style training
- Dungeon-style functional fitness sessions
These programs provide a pathway for older participants to continue developing their fitness in a safe, age-appropriate, and professionally supervised environment.
2. Child Safety Commitment
At Jindalee Fitness 24/7, the safety and wellbeing of children and young people is our highest priority.
Our programs operate under our Child Safety & Wellbeing Framework, aligned with:
- National Child Safe Standards
- Queensland Child & Youth Risk Management Strategy
This framework applies to all FunFit Kids programs, staff, contractors, and volunteers.
We are committed to:
- Providing a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment
- Maintaining zero tolerance for abuse, bullying, discrimination, or grooming
- Ensuring staff are appropriately screened, trained, and supervised
- Maintaining clear professional boundaries
- Responding immediately to any safety concerns
- Encouraging children and families to speak up
3. Risk Assessments & Safety Management
Jindalee Fitness 24/7 conducts formal risk assessments for all FunFit Kids programs, sessions, and events.
These risk assessments:
- Identify potential hazards
- Implement control measures to minimise risk
- Are reviewed and updated regularly
This ensures all sessions are delivered in a safe, structured, and controlled environment.
4. Access to Child Safety Policies
Our Child Safety & Wellbeing Framework and supporting policies are available to families upon request.
This includes:
- Child Safety policies and procedures
- Code of Conduct
- Risk management procedures
- Complaint handling processes
We are committed to transparency and encourage families to review these documents at any time.
5. Staff & Supervision
All sessions are supervised by:
- A Senior Instructor (Cert IV or higher)
- A Junior Assistant Instructor
All staff:
- Hold a valid Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
- Are trained in child safety and supervision practices
- Hold First Aid & CPR certification
6. Enrolment & Payments
- Enrolment is confirmed upon registration and payment
- All fees are non-transferable
- Programs are structured around school terms
7. Cancellations, Make-Up Sessions & Usage Policy
Cancellation & Missed Sessions (Make-Up Policy)
If your child is unwell, please cancel within 2 hours to create a “make up”.
No shows cannot be claimed for a make up class.
If your child misses a session:
- You may book a make-up session within the same term, subject to availability
- Make-up sessions:
- Must be booked (no walkins)
- Must be used within the same term
- Do not carry over into school holidays or future terms
- Are not guaranteed and depend on class capacity
- Make-up sessions may be used:
- In any FunFit Kids stream (SportsFit or Mini Dungeon)
- Within your child’s appropriate age group
- In any class with available space
Casual Passes & Visit Packs
- Casual sessions and visit packs:
- Must be used within the same term as purchase
- Do not roll over into school holidays or future terms
Refunds
- No refunds are provided for:
- Missed sessions
- Change of mind
- Scheduling conflicts
- Where appropriate, credits or make-up sessions may be offered at management discretion
If you have any questions about missed sessions, make-ups, or class options, please speak to our team—we are here to help and will do our best to accommodate where possible.
8. Attendance & Collection
- Children must be dropped off and collected on time
- JF247 is only responsible for children during their scheduled session time
- Late collection may incur a supervision fee
9. Behaviour Expectations
Children are expected to:
- Follow instructions from staff
- Treat others and equipment with respect
JF247 reserves the right to:
- Remove a child from a session if behaviour is unsafe or disruptive
- Cancel enrolment for ongoing behavioural concerns
10. Toileting & Hygiene
- Children should use the toilet prior to sessions
- Staff will escort children to the accessible toilet and wait outside
Staff do not assist with:
- Toileting
- Changing clothes
- KinderFit participants must be toilet trained, or parents must remain onsite
- Parents will be contacted in the event of an accident
11. Health & Medical
Parents must disclose any:
- Medical conditions (Parents must provide an action plan and emergency medicine for their child in the case of Anaphylaxis, Asthma or Diabetes)
- Injuries
- Additional needs
Children must not attend if:
- Unwell or contagious. Refer to Qld Health Time Out guidelines.
If a child becomes unwell or injured:
- Parents will be contacted immediately
12. Injury & Risk Acknowledgement
FunFit Kids involves physical activity including running, jumping, and obstacle-based movement.
By enrolling, parents acknowledge:
- There are inherent risks involved
- Participation is voluntary
- JF247 is not liable except where required by law
13. Photography & Media
- Photos and videos may be taken for marketing and program purposes.
- Participation is subject to your selected consent at registration.
- Children without consent will not be included in media.
14. Clothing & Equipment
- Appropriate activewear and enclosed shoes must be worn
- No jewellery or loose accessories
- Water bottles are recommended
15. Schedule Changes & Session Adjustments
Jindalee Fitness 24/7 reserves the right to make reasonable changes to class schedules where required.
This may include:
- Changes to session times
- Instructor changes
- Class structure or format adjustments
- Consolidation of classes due to low enrolments
Notice Period
- Where possible, families will be provided with a minimum of 24 hours’ notice
- In some circumstances (e.g. staff illness), shorter notice may be required.
- Notifications will be sent via text and social media.
If a Session is Changed or Cancelled by JF247
Where a session is impacted:
- We will offer one of the following:
- A make-up session within the same term
- A credit toward another session or program
- A refund, where a suitable alternative cannot be provided
Class Suitability After Changes
If a change impacts your ability to attend:

16. Complaints, Feedback & Child Safety Concerns
We are committed to open, transparent, and respectful communication.
Raising a Concern
Families are encouraged to raise concerns at any time.
You do not need proof—if something does not feel right, please speak up.

Zero Tolerance
JF247 has zero tolerance for:
- Child abuse
- Grooming
- Bullying
- Discrimination
All concerns are taken seriously and acted on immediately.
17. Continuous Improvement
We regularly review our programs and welcome feedback from families to improve the safety and experience of all participants.

By enrolling your child in FunFit Kids, you confirm that:
- You have read and understood these Terms & Conditions
- You agree to all policies outlined
- You accept the risks associated with participation
- You agree to comply with program requirements
